Clonleigh Dancer

Clonleigh Dancer (above) was approved by the Irish Horse Board in 2004 after undergoing Central Performance Testing. This quality athletic horse is a fine example of the Irish Draught and possesses all the attributes now desirable in the breed. i.e. good conformation, good bone (9 ins), free straight movement with a good step and an excellent temperament. He goes to show that it is still possible to produce good Irish Draughts using traditional breeding lines.
He has many show winners as he sires very correct foals. His stock are in great demand and have features in the top price brtacket at the Irish Draught Sales in Cavan (a yearling filly realised 9,800 euros and a filly foal made 4,200 euros).
This stallion is also an ideal cross with Thoroughbred or lighter Sport Horse mares to produce quality athletic horses.
