“Ballineen its William” was the youngest stallion to be approved in 2011 at only 3 years of age, and received one of the highest scores.
He was imported into Ireland by Jimmy Quinn in 2008 after being purchased as a foal from noted breeder Ms Enid Lord in Lancashire, England.
In 2008, “Ballineen its William” was champion foal at the IDHS(GB).
Champion colt foal in the hunter class at the Great Yorkshire show.
Champion foal at the Snowford breeding championship.
His dam “Ballineen Glen Abbess” must be one of the top RID mares in the world. Amongst her many wins she has been supreme champion Irish Draught annual breed show, champion at the Royal, twice champion at the Great Yorkshire, then went on to be the first Irish Draught to take the supreme champion, winning the Cuddy (in front of the Queen) and qualifying for Hoys.
